It's that time of year again for the NCHJA Annual show. I just wanted to start a thread to brag about my 5 year old niece that is going to make her leadline debut! I have been giving her "lessons" (no payment involved and on my own horse so don't report me! ) on my adult jumper and can steer, keep her heels down (with frequent reminders), walk in two point, and walk over poles. She LOVES ALL of it. She currys, brushes, picks feet, takes the halter on and off, and hoses him off (all with my assistance of course). She won't be showing my horse at Annual (he's horrible in the indoor) but will be on my friends 17.3h ex-event horse. It's going to be adorable! So be on the look out! I'll also be taking my jumper in low or high adults (depending on how he takes to the indoor) and the Bryan Jones Medal final. Not nearly as excited to show myself as I am for the leadline though!
So...Who's going? What is everyone excited about for the show this year? Thoughts on how it ran last year? Improvements?
