Bradley Breeches from Smartpak?
I just received the Smartpak catalog in the mail today, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with their new Bradley breeches?
I personally do not care for a low-rise and was wondering how these fit. Also...they are advertised as Coolmax. With the upcoming summer heat...I'm looking for any way I can to keep cool and still be able to ride. If these are truly cooler, I would love to try a pair.
TIA

There is a long thread about their fit and such over in the hunter/jumper section if you want to read what those people thought.

Well...I'm now totally confused after reading that thread, lol.
Does anyone here have any experience with the full-seats?
Thanks.

Full seats are what I bought. I think several people in that thread bought full seats.

They are great as far as details and fabric but the calf is small and does not stretch. Cant tell you how they fit bc I couldn't get them over my calves. They say the calf stretches up to 1.25 or 2" cant remember exactly but youre lucky to get .5". I also went up a size.

I ordered a pair and ended up returning them
The main fabric is very nice (coolmax, stretch, not too thick) and I loved the chocolate color but the way they were cut didn't work for me. I'm 5'3, 100lbs and they were far too long. I didn't think the full seat fabric was very sticky. But after one trip through the washing machine they didn't fit right anymore - I got a "pooch" of fabric right on my tailbone that stuck out! Not very flattering. But Smartpak was awesome as usual and refunded me, no questions asked.

Love the fabric, not the fit
I really liked the cool max. Not too thin, but light enough for summer. Fit not so much. I had no problems with the calves, but there was a gap where my tailbone was. I can wear them with a belt, but don't love the fit.

Thank you all for answering my post.
The breeches not fitting well is what I gleamed from the Hunter/Jumper thread...but didn't have time to read all 13 pages...and most of it was talking about the testers.
I appreciate the honest feedback...since it seems that fit is a major issue with these...I'm going to pass on them. I can put the $79 that SP has them on sale for, towards a pair of well-fitting breeches. It's not worth the hassle to purchase and then have to return. I have large calves, and it sounds like that is a major issue with these breeches.
Anyway...thank you for the responses.
