    Default It's the waiting

My horse colicked last night. Got him to the vet clinic, outcome does not look good. After speaking with the vet this morning, it seems all I can do now is wait. And of course think of all the shoulda, coulda, wouldas. If I lose him I don't think I can deal with getting another horse. I've already lost two this past year.

How terrible, hoping and pulling for you and your horse. I can't imagine losing one, much less going through what you are. Big hugs and good thoughts.

I lost two horses within 10 months last year. It's a tough time, for sure. Praying for the best outcome for all of you. Blessings!

I had a horse colic, be diagnosed with a partial twist and come out of it just fine! No issues after the colic and didn't happen again. You never know.
