Lisa and Joey--
thank you so much for sharing Aiden with us. I am sure that there is not a single life on this thread that he has not touched, not a single belief that he has not reaffirmed. He has made us believe in miracles and in the power of prayer. I am honored to have been a part, however small, of this family that we have formed!
The pictures are so amazing, the strength in that kid...(tears starting up...the curb chain pic did me in...)
Thank you so much. Please be sure to update us on the things that all parents update their friends on--first steps, first word, first blue ribbon... http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...icon_smile.gif Thank you again for sharing your angelbaby with us.
Aiden--thanks for sticking with it, for "grabbing mane" and fighting like the lion you are!!! we all love you.
and, like BB and so many others--thanks for showing us what really matters in life.
with all of my love, prayers, jingles, and happiness,
Rohan
God bless.

I feel like old friends are moving away.
It's a bittersweet feeling: I'm sad that the camaraderie of this thread will end (here, anyway, but hopefully picked up and spread to other parts of the COTH BB and Yahoo, too), but so happy that you are able to take this wonderful next step toward a normal life with your sweet baby.
Lisa, Joey and Aiden, I hope you realize how much you have done for us. This experience has renewed my flagging faith in many things, including people, and I'm so grateful for having been able to participate during the last several months.
Now you're able to continue that extraordinary journey that parents take with children as they grow up. It will again be like jumping a course: probably not all perfect fences, but definitely worth the trip!
Love to you all. Godspeed.

Dearest Hawks,
Such great news! Thank you all for including us in this journey. There's strength in numbers.
Looking forward to meeting you one day. I won't make the Feb party, but am hopeful for the leadline tour!

Best of luck to you and Aiden.
Don't know if this was asked but- Will this thread be saved in any way?
IMO think it should be made into a book ~ complete with it's very happy ending.
One last jingle for the up coming weeks and your trip home.

I hope Master Aiden likes lions -- it looks like he's going to be surrounded by them for a long time to come. http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...on_biggrin.gif
As always, best of luck and best wishes and prayers to all the Hawk family and friends. You've given US more than you will ever know. http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...icon_smile.gif

Your family's story has been incredibly moving. And this comment comes from one of the world's most cynical people http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c.../icon_wink.gif.
It was wonderful to read about Aiden's transplant over the holidays. Wishing you, Aiden, and Mr. RolexH much happiness.

All good things must come to an end. http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...icon_smile.gif
OK, I've taken the liberty of setting up a Yahoo group for Lisa, as I'm sure she has better things to do. http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c.../icon_wink.gif
For those of you who aren't familiar with Yahoo groups... they are basically mailing lists. There's a main email address for the list, and once you subscribe, you receive all the emails sent to that address. So, basically, the same stuff going on on this thread can continue... it will just be via email instead of the BB.
You will have a couple of options for your subscription... you can either get every email individually (which could mean quite a few emails a day), you can receive a daily digest (which is one long email that contains all the individual emails that were sent that day -- less clutter in your inbox), or you can just read the messages via the web.
Anyone who is subscribed can send a message to the list, which can be read by everyone else who is subscribed.
And, of course, you can unsubscribe yourself at any time.
Here is the web page for information...
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/COTH_aiden/
You should be able to sign yourself up there. You can also sign up by sending an email to COTH_aiden-subscribe@yahoogroups.com... I think you just put the word "subscribe" in the message.
Once you're a member, to send an email to the whole group, you send it to COTH_aiden@yahoogroups.com. Remember, this goes to EVERYONE who is subscribed.
All of this is explained at the URL I gave above, so bookmark that, and you'll have all the info you need.
Disclaimer time. This list is obviously separate from the BB -- it's not sanctioned by COTH, but is being done as a courtesy for BB members who want to continue this discussion. The list is not moderated, and the only rules are Yahoo's. Since I set up the list, I'm listed as the "owner"... I'll be happy to help anyone who has trouble signing up or using the list, but for the most part, you all will be on your own. http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c.../icon_wink.gif
I'm going to go ahead and close this thread now, so that the info about the Yahoo group won't get buried. Thanks again to everyone for their support... and what a nice feeling to be able to close this "chapter" of Aiden's story. http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...icon_smile.gif
If you have any questions, email me at COTHCatHerder@yahoo.com.
