    Default Green pony status?

Please help me interpret the USEF rules....if a large pony has shown in the 2'9" jumpers (Level 0) at rated shows in 2010, are they now ineligible for the Large Green Pony hunters?

Yes. It is ineligible. It has already shown over 2'9" at a recognized show.

I have a large pony that has a state Hunter/Jumper Association measurement card. He has competed at "C" shows in the large pony division at 2'9". He has never jumped higher than 2'9" at any show and has never shown under a USEF#.
When we take him to his first "A/AA" show, have him measuured by a USEF steward, and register him for a USEF #, is he green eligible?
