I'm about 5'5", and Tristan is just a hair under 16.3hh. He seems to get bigger every day. At five year old, I HOPE he's stopped going up, but he just keeps adding muscle. I always wanted a 16.1hh TB type...now I have a 16.3hh tank of a warmblood! Oh, well. I think we look fine together, and he feels great. He's not really a "heavy" horse to ride.

Not a typo. His idea of a joke. It is sort of a running joke at the barn. I like to daydream that she is 16 hands (NOT) and he likes to tease me and tell me she is 14.4.

He's fat though, so My leg is taken up a little more than I'd like, but still, he's a perfect match.

I am 5'0" and ride a deep girthed 14.3 Morgan. He is the perfect size for me, I think. (By the way, he THINKS he is 16 hands easy...)

I'm 5'10" and my horse is 16.2h. I'm mostly legs and pretty lanky so I feel most comfortable on horses 16.1 and up.

I'm about 5'5", my daughter is about 5'7", and our horse is 16h. He's not skinny though.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... timey wimey... stuff.

My ClydeXTB Elephant Boy aka Genuine Draft is 17.3 1/2 and The Evil White Witch aka Gracious Me is 15.2 1/2. I am just about 5'7" with very short legs. My theory when buying the big guy is that his but will ALWAYS look wider than mine.
