This is just so crazy. I can't believe this stuff is going on, yet she keeps posting photos all over facebook like all is well. Unbelievable.
We're spending our money on horses and bourbon. The rest we're just wasting.

I would also make up flyers and send them around the every feed store, tack shop, Veterinarian, Farrier, boarding stable, etc. in that area. Someone knows where this yearling is being hidden. Put on the flyer that the person who has this yearling can be facing legal problems but if they contact you and return him you won't go after them. Your lawyer will know the wording to use.
Also contact the local newspaper - if they won't do an article consider taking out an advertisement.

If this person is illegally listing your horse for sale on websites, why don't you contact those sites and have the ads removed? At least while you are looking for her you can make it more difficult for the filly to be sold.

perhaps you could copy her ads, then post your own with "this horse is a stolen horse" listed across the photo in your ad??? anyone looking would realize to stay away from the whole situation??
or, as was already suggested, I would have pretend to be a buyer, set up a visit, then you will know where your filly is, go with the "buyer" and all the law you can get, and take her home!!
good luck

I would have a copy of your court order sent to the owners of the Webb site she is advertising on and ask to have her Ads pulled...If they won't then replicate her Ad in as much as horses name Age description BUT then tell the world the Advertised horse who is being Sold by So n So is STOLEN and you have court papers to prove it...Should rain on her parade
Also notfy Breed registy and show managers....if you can't join em----screw em...put up fliers at breed shows the more JQ publis knows less chance she will be sold..

I think it's way overdue for all those ripped off by this woman to get together and hire one lawyer to not only pursue the civil matter but to help everyone get together with filing massive criminal complaints so that they can get the DA in that county off his butt.

Don't forget the power of CL - I have seen similar "warning" posts about stolen horses for sale. Maybe that will also get the word out.
Best wishes and so sorry.

How about posting your story on her and her stallion's facebook page until your fingers feel like they are going to fall off? It may prevent someone else from going through what you went through plus it is possible whoever as your yearling will see the post and contact you.

Selective payments???
May I ask where / how she got the money to ship Rapture out east to show and where / how she got the money to SHOW said filly in the Hunter Breeding classes at ... oh ... about 7-8-9-10 shows right now???
Since Grayfox Farm is shown as the Breeder AND the Owner on the show records, I am assuming that the Raach's who are handling her in the ring arent that stupid as to foot the bill for the show expenses and wait to get paid by Jill, I am *assuming* that Jill is actually paying each show that this filly is showing at and these cheques arent bouncing
Hmmm ... different bank accounts??? Or ???
Does anyone know anyone in the show office that can confirm if the cheques are being drawn on a Grayfox Farm account?
Isnt that truly special! You have the available funds to show one of your horses but not to pay the people you owe money to ...
Maybe the courts need to know that she is forking out money to do a "luxury" endeavour like showing but is reneging on contracts and who she owes money to ...

Of course no one had to name names… what other “well known” breeder has judgments against them from:
Their feed store
Their vet
Their attorney
John French
PLUS outstanding warrants, AND the farm has been foreclosed on AND
Said breeder is acting like nothing is wrong.. still trying to AQUIRE new brood mares… sell horses that aren’t hers. Meanwhile just sticking her head in the sand regarding all of those she has WRONGED.
Seriously, how bad is this going to get?!?! JB needs to be STOPPED before there are MORE VICTIMS of her fraud!!

YES... Seriously, this woman and her irresponsibility have hurt so many. She really needs to be brought to justice!

I can tell you from experience with a case here in Texas (in which I was the lawyer hired) that when all the victims get together and DEMAND the DA to act, things will get done. Not only does the whole group become a powerful force with a loud voice, but no one ends up spending a fortune, as they share the costs.
In the Texas case, Patricia Wilson was arrested and went to jail because a group of victims of her fraud (she taunted them at first and called them "Heifers," a name they proudly took up among themselves) refused to accept law enforcement's ignoring of the situation.
Go Heifers!

No show manager or secretary cares who wrote the check for the entries and I doubt anyone in show management would be so dumb to disclose that info. Not if they want to keep their USEF license. LOL
So who has a bill of sale on the filly?
I'd bet JB does.
And that would make it NOT a stolen horse.
It would simply be a civil matter. And it would seem that is the way the courts see this otherwise she would have been arrested for GT.
I hate to break this to you but often the USEF owner of record is not the one who is paying the show bill.

Yes, but she is aquiring horses, even though she owes a ton of people money.... AND her ranch has been foreclosed on. So it is safe to wonder how is she paying for some stuff, while ignoring others.
Looks like John French still hasn't been paid, yet Jill is getting new horses.
Just doesn't add up. And as for bill of sale, when buying on a payment plan, there are usually provisions for termination / forefieture if you DON'T PAY FOR THE HORSE. The courts have agreed, it is not her horse. Its now just a matter of the poor OP trying to get her hands ON the horse!
If Jill would fess up, OP would have her horse back. I don't think there is any question on who owns it at this point.
Jill has a LONG history of "buying things" (like feed...or a long haul... or a ranch... or a horse) and not paying for it.
So perhaps not stolen, morally wrong, yes, courts have said the horse does not belong to her, yes. Should Jill FOR ONCE do the right thing and tell the OP where the horse is? YES.

I think that if anything is certain in this whole huge mess that Jill has created for herself, it is that she has NO IDEA what the "right thing" is. At all. Not that that excuses any of her terrible behavior, but asking her or expecting her to do "the right thing" is like asking a fish to grow wings and build a nest in the trees.
This woman isn't going to stop until a court steps in and makes her life very uncomfortable, and even then I doubt that she will ever see anything wrong with what she's done.
Since she's showing--does anyone know if it's possible to get her banned through the USEF for her actions and the judgements against her?

Wow
So I got taken to task by COTH last year writing a letter expressing poor research by Molly Sorge in profiling GFF as "hunter breeder of the year"
Then there has been the "deal" with a HB show barn on the East Coast.
Then there was the IHF cover up when dues not paid but big hustle to get fees paid FOR the IHF
Then the horse trainers not paid
Need I go on ? All the red flags waving for years yet folks still sent mares and more? I am so sorry for the OP but honestly...this is business or should be and that means do your RESEARCH.
That said, research shows a very vocal "JB" posse with alters etc who intimidated. Including a few now posting as "offended parties". The Internet has a long memory!

What sort of Court Order would be necessary for a law enforcement escort to enter the property with you and to seize your property (horse)? This sort of thing has to exist?
It's beyond not mentioning her name in this case. It's only slander if it isn't true. The internet documentation alone is enough on that score.
Good luck in getting your filly back safe and sound, that's what really matters.

I've heard personally that J.B has bought a new larger farm and is selling of stock because of it.
I'm not sure if it can be confirmed other then posting her own words. If it is indeed the case how can she purchase a new farm moments after the bank repo's the first and with all these outstanding bills etc to people?
