He seems ok, he's got some nice lines in there for sport ... and stands for$100 LFG in Michigan. Good deal on the stud fee.

Well, he is at my place now. Debating on what to do with him. Does he have a decent pedigree for eventing?

Damascus and Bold Ruler are unusually close up these days.

Do you mean for him or just in general?

There's nothing in there that really excites me, and he's got an astounding lack of Bay Ronald. (I've been screwing around with a pet project looking at that particular ancestor, as he contributes to good movement. This horse has the LEAST of my 100+ list.)

His tail male is Teddy, which is neat and not terribly common.

For me, this would be a case of look at the horse in front of you, instead of the pedigree, and see what he can do. But I am always interested to hear what vineyridge has to say!

I'm always looking for TBs to cross with wb mares.

I would update his webpage with a good conformation image. If he's got good legs that's a real plus for crossing with heavy wb mares.

Just an FYI, any ads out there for him are not mine. This guy may be looking for a new home because I don't really have room for 2 stallions here.

His picture didn't show up for me, but I found his pedigree interesting, with much to like.
Bolingbroke!! I can't remember when I saw his name in a pedigree....

Here is his ad with a pic http://www.stallionsnow.com/stallion-ad-246866

Just to clarify, this is not my ad, I am not trying to advertise him here and he won't be standing to the public anyways.

The pic must be from a while ago. He is totally fleabitten now and has no dark points left. I know it doesn't show his conformation at all. I will try get some updated pics of him tomorrow. I think he is a bit taller then 15.2 but not by much.

I did post him in the giveaways forum. I just don't have a place for another stallion here.

What about gelding him at this age (20)? I know there are risks, but is he going to be a jerk gelding then? I have never gelded a horse past 4 years of age, and never one that has already been bred. I just wish he could have a normal life.

He is scheduled to be gelded on Thursday if no one wants him for breeding.
