    Default Custom Fly Bonnet

Can anyone recommend some custom (or non-custom) fly veil companies for me? I know of De la Couer, Sanswill, and Ear-z, but they are all a little too expensive.

I am looking for a full sized, black with white and purple. Fitted ears are best for B-A Children's Jumpers.

    Thanks

Smartpak makes some custom bonnets where you can pick the pipping. I believe they have the colors you want and its only around $35. Good quality.

I have a Smartpak one and it is pretty decent. I know they have those colors because a former client got one in those colors! Price is hard to beat.

I really like my Smartpak one, great to get the custom colors for that price. It fits my cob-head pony although the ears are a little big, so I imagine it would fit a horse-sized ear pretty well.

I know you said Sanswill is out of your price range, but I'd honestly say they're worth it. I know the girl who makes them and they're gorgeous. When I'm not a broke (okay, LESS broke, I'll always be semi-broke because of my pony) university student I plan on getting one. There's also the fact that I live in Canada, and therefore SmartPak isn't an option for me.

My pony also has a weird head, and the girl behind Sanswill has assured me that she'll be able to make something that fits her

Sanswill bonnets are awesome! Mine is gorgeous and really, really well made. They aren't too expensive compared to other custom bonnets.

The clothes horse are gorgeos, my trainer has some he ordered down in wef a long time ago.

De La Coeur are gorgeous but cost $100 and up.

Never heard of earz and umm smartpak kinda fugly, I guess depends on your tastes though...

Maybe just buy an already made eskadron one? They are good for a budget

My friend tried to order a sanswill and it was a complete fail, she was pissed, order was wrong so many times, she gave up.

I tried the cheapie route the first time (under $50) on a semi-custom and it was just bleh. Decided to plurge on the Sanswill and it's light years better. Amazing quality, fabulous fit, and the colors are perfect. A little pricey but so worth it. Never should have wasted the money on the "cheap option" in the first place! You get what you pay for.

I love this one, it is in your colours: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater

That being said, I respect you are on a budget so non of the custom companies will work.

Sansibarwills bonnets are cheaper and work for the thrifty minded who still want custom.

Greenhawk has CHEAP ones and they comes in purple: http://greenhawk.com/wdItemDesc.asp?...ricSKU=HOR0021

I heard they are no where near as nice as a De La Coeur or others mentioned however not bad at all for a off the rack one made overseas.

If you can do without the purple, I'd suggest USG. Super, super nice for the price!!
