Default Need custom artwork done - any suggestions?

I was thinking of ordering a painting - one of my old aussie, who I lost in Feb., and one my BF's dogs, for his upcoming birthday. I thought we could make a little gallery of our dog's portraits for the house.

Can anyone suggest an artist they might have worked with, or seen someone's work they admire? I would probably like something bright and cheery. I've seen work by Ron Krajewski, and really liked it. http://www.ronkrajewski.com/index.html

Thought I might get some more suggestions here, though. Ideas? Thanks!

Do you have facebook? Put something out there with what you want.. and encourage friends to "share". It'll be so much more.satisfying beause it'll be more personal. There are a lot of good artists out there who don't do it professionally.

    Default Recommendation

I used JohnniS at InAllThingsArt on Etsy for a Christmas present for my mentor.

I emailed several photos and he sent me a couple drafts. I was very pleased with the final product as was the recipient.

    Default They're in England

And I've spoken with them. Their dog portraits are spectacular, I'm having one done of our beloved Corgi, Miles that we lost 3 months ago.

Based on the style that you like, I recommend:

My friend has ordered several from her and I've always wanted one or five...

I really like the artwork of the artist you mentioned. I like he manages to capture the personality of the animal without being overly sentimental. AND he is very reasonably priced.

Please post a picture of the portrait you get.

I have three paintings Ron did and he is simply fabulous in really representing the particular personality of whatever animal he paints.
