Oh I know! ;-) We've known that for a while!
ps - Bravehawk showed once this year, at a Gold show, first time at 2nd level - came in 1st and 2nd in his classes!
My yearling filly went on a road trip last weekend, to a friend's farm to use her indoor for free-jumping.
She was INCREDIBLY well behaved. So so respectful and quiet, I can't say enough about her temperament. Even when she's pushed out of her comfort zone, she has no zany baby sillies in her.

FEH
Here is Corsen SR at his 1st show. The Future Event Horse (FEH) class at Waradaca a couple of weeks ago. His owner is an Advanced 2* level eventer, which explains why we took him there. He took 1st Colt honors with a 78.8 looking like...well like a yearling.

I'm a proud mama to a 2011 bundle of joy. Huey is out of a full Tb Runforaddie and by the KWPN Amazing. We showed him at the beginning of Aug and he was the best behaved yearling I could ask for. He loved all the attention. We measured him yesterday and he is 15.2. Both parents are 16.2-3.

My Yearling Filly, Ironrose, is doing beautifully. She was Grand Champion at the Maryland State Fair and also well placed on the line at Warrenton. Here are her pics:

She is NOT FOR SALE and this is NOT A BRAG. It is "How my 2011 yearling is doing!"

For the first time in my life, I have pretty Yearlings! One of them has gone in and out of funky stages but the other is just always gorgeous =) I don't know how I managed to pull this off ;-)
Incadescent TS (by Ideal out of our high scoring Premium mare, Vegas)
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...type=3&theater
Blessing TS (by Bugatti out of Isabeau, this filly is a 3/4 sister to the Oldenburg stallion Bravo owned by Chris Misita)

She was sick earlier this year and had her sides shaved for an ultrasound so the regrowing hair looks rather funny =( It's also why I haven't bothered to get any good conformation shots...

It is good to see all of the yearling pics and video. There are definitely a lot of lovely yearlings.
This is my little guy who I just recently purchased from Silver Creek. I can't say enough good things about Silver Creek: wonderful people to deal with and I received a wonderfully mannered yearling from them.
Here is his sale video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFwpJLdXjk4

Please excuse the dirty socks! He literally was pulled right from the field, fussy and all. He was standing there for so long (bless his heart) so I can take 1982731928 different pictures of him (which I don't honestly know how to stand him for a conformation picture), hense his bored expression. He is about 15.1 1/2 about 15.2/3 behind.

I love seeing everyone's yearlings! They all look great I also cant believe my guy will be 2 in the spring. Time flies!! Here are a couple of pics of my guy as a foal and as a yearling in the summer. He is about 14h right now and he can stop growing any time now! His dam is 14.1h, Morton's Secret (welsh x) and his sire, Jackets Classical Blue, is 13.3h. He is going to be part of our combined driving pair (the other half is 14.1h as a 3 year old).

First as a foal:

And then at 15 months: He's the spotty grey (no appaloosa, just grey)

He's a real powerhouse. Can't wait to get him under saddle. Only another two years....

My yearling filly is Livella. Livella is the grey by Livello out of De Luxe by Dirano. Livella is enjoying life playing with her pasture mates in the field during the day and a cozy stall at night. Livella has a sweetheart personality. With her pedigree I can't wait to see her jump under saddle. We are in no hurry to get her started and will have to wait until she is 4yrs old.

Had 2..both sold and reported to be about 14.3H. Both by my mostly TB Paint stallion (he is 16H+); one out of a stockhorse mare and one out of a WB mare. Both expected to mature at 16 to 16.1H.The filly is a max white sabino with blue eyes; the WBx gelding is black with 4 white socks and a star.

stolen - COOL progression of gray! LOL Those white spots would be called Tetrarch spots, after the TB racehorse The Tetrarch.
