Default In search of the perfect leg yield

What does an ideal leg yield look like? What does it feel like?

    Any video links?

    Thanks.

The horse is reaching under your outside seat bone with the inside hind. Effortlessly.

Make sure the shoulders and hips stay in line with each other - the legs cross over and the horse is still working over the back fairly well - which is slightly tricky because this is not a movement that leads towards collection - its sort of contrary but does prove ovediance and straightness - stretch in the legs etc. The Half Pass is on a bend and travels also in a diagonal but the horse is truly collected.
