    Default New helmet!!

So today I found out I won a $100 gift certificate to a tack shop that my boss works at. So we went their shopping and I bought two shirts, and THIS!

I also got to use it in my lesson today! It is such an upgrade from my Troxel (that wasn't SEI approved so I had to buy a new helmet if I wanted to start eventing). The best part? Boss was able to get me a 50% discount on everything!!!

Made me feel like a kid at Christmas

Hahaha I love those moments!! The first time I set foot in Chantilly, VA's Dover store all I could do was blink and go "wow.."

Love the helmet! How did it feel? Lightweight? Comfy? I rode in a Troxel for YEARS, but I honestly don't know if it was approved. But that was back before I was eventing, so meh. I loved that helmet saved my noggin a couple of times. I finally threw it away last summer when I started riding XC and realized the fiberglass was cracked in a couple spots.

    Congrats on your shopping spree!

Its very lightweight and feels great! It has some nice little vent areas for my sweaty head

I loved my Troxel since it was MY first helmet, but a horse decided to crush it between him and the post (don't worry it wasn't on my head hooked to the stirrup haha) it just kind of broke the plastic but I decided that was my calling. I'm not a big worrier about how I look but I think this new helmet looks better on me. Granted, I totally forget about the helmet after I ride haha!
