Default Animal Communicator for lost pets?

I have no shame. I am going to call a AC about my poor kitty, who disappeared last week. Does any body have anyone they have used?
Madeline is one that basically lived in the area between the barn and the arena. She hung out with the parents on the bleachers every afternoon. I am at a loss where she could be.

You might try Terri Stueben - calmhealer.com. She helped me locate my missing kitty.

I was thinking coyotes, but she really sticks around the barn.

Not a psychic, but a website of a Washington-area pet search-and-rescue. I read a book the owner wrote, and it was very interesting. She started in law enforcement, and only started tracking lost pets with her bloodhound by chance after retiring. One fascinating thing she says is that people tend to give up too soon - after a few days, they tend to assume the pet must have been killed soon after going missing, or they'd have found some sign already, but in her experience, an animal who becomes trapped or lost can survive quite a while.

Good luck! I have neighbors who lost their Dachshund for a week; it turned out she was stuck in a humane trap.

I used Lydia Hiby (sp?) yrs ago for a lost cat, who came back the next day. Still not sure I believe in it, but had her 'read' my horse too and she know things about him that blew my mind. Best of luck. A lost pet is so hard. I'd rather have them pass than just loose them

I did think that she was gone, something must have gotten her. But I don't want to give up yet. I just don't know what to do next! I want my kitty!
I emailed a couple of people, but they couldn't talk to me for a couple days.

We've used Latifah at animalscantalk.com (not for lost animals though, but I see it on her website).

I've used Lydia Hiby too - not for a lost pet, but for consults w/good results.

    OP:
My little barncat went walkabout for at least a week one Spring.
Something in the air gets them going.
She was neutered, but I guess "a young cat's fancy..." is not confined to seeking a mate.

    Don't give up yet!

I keep giving up...then feeling guilty and trying to look more for her. No AC so far has been able to fit me in and/or does lost pets.

I don't know if you've already contacted someone. But, I have used Debbie McGillvary with my dogs. She has a page just for lost animals.

It's the skeptic in me I am sure, but if they can communicate with your pet on other issues, why can't they communicate with your pet when it is lost? So they can only "talk" to it if it is at "home"?
