Desert Trail Ride
I just had to post this pic I took yesterday of my favorite view of the world; between my pony's ears. I think she likes her view almost as much. I got this mare free and was very uncomfortable taking her as I already had another horse, but she is a total gem (her name is even Jewel). She is like a four-wheeler and will go up and down these desert hills without barely burning a bit of gas LOL.

Allah took a handful of southerly wind, blew His breath over it, and created the horse. Thou shall fly without wings, and conquer without any sword, O, Horse!

The link took me to my own facebook page. You probably have it set to friends only.

OK - I looked at it to make sure it's public and copied the link again....

Nice! Sometimes I really miss California. Another Cother created a Facebook group for members to post between the ear pictures. The group is called "As Seen Through Horse's Ears" It's an open group where people from all over the world post pictures. The only criteria is that they include ears
How Cool! Gonna go look for that..

Looks like the high desert of northern LA County. Lake Los Angeles, perhaps? Nice.

Rosamond and "Rosamond adjacent"
Equestrian Trails Inc. Corral 83 in Tehachapi led the ride around the south side of Soledad Mountain, which is the same mountain next to the 14 freeway with the Silver Queen Mine on the north side of it.
Here's the GPS track of the ride that day:

Corral 83 puts on a lot of nice rides.
Starting on page 11 of the May magazine, look for a list of all ETI rides:

Hope you can meet up for a ride some time.
