    Default top hats

So, been looking at the Rolex pics on Facebook and have a question - when the rider opts to wear a tophat in lieu of a helmet, what dictates the tallness of the hat? I see they vary quite a bit, with William Fox Pitt's seeming to be quite tall. Is it just picking one that tends to accentuate your own physique the best????

Personal preference. I personally don't like the stove pipes. And I have fully adjusted to the sight of the helmet with the shad.

I am one of those weird people who PREFERS the look of a helmet to the topper... Actually, I think they look wonderful...

I prefer the helmet look, too! (only certain, classy looking helmets).
