    Katie sure did have Bear.

    She had:
    Kokomo - Short stirrup
    George - Children's Hunter/Eq 12 -14
    Tide - Same
    Tuna - lease CHJA Finals
    Ladies First -- 15 - 17/Some big eq
    Gremmie -- lease Missy Clark
Bob -- leased(or some other future successful eq horse in his first year doing the eq - can't remember which one) - in FL, big eq
    Bear -- Children's Jumpers/NE and CHJA Finals

Then she leased some horses from Acres and did Medal Finals, NE Finals (ribbon -- 6th or 7th). I don't know their names.

I don't know all the horses show names!

Truffle was ridden by Romi something then Schyler Riley. Katie Battison rode Sam I Am her last year and a chestnut one the year before(just at the finals with the chestnut, whose name escapes me)

Bingo on Nicholas! I think Kristen was second at the Medal, pinned in the Maclay and won NE.

Hillary rode him in Finals the year before, but it was his first year showing out of eventing, I think.

Elizabeth did him in the A/O's.

Who did Ladies First in the Eq besides Katie Battison?

Yes, that was the name of Katie's horse her last year. After she died, her parents found a picture frame she had decorated with his name. She had also of the pictures she had ordered only one fit in that frame. They arrived after she passed away but that picture is in the frame she had made for Sam I Am, which is up in her parents' house.

Since there seem to be a huge number of knowledgable eq folks here, I have to take a shot at it - Anyone remember Boston Banker? I rode him for nearly 4 years before my trainer sold him (in his mid 20's then).

I know he did the eq for a long time out of Acres Wild, and went to some finals. 16.1, bay, TB...he was born in '73, so this would have been in the 80's mainly.

I still miss him, and am constantly looking for more info on him.

In 1999, I think Megan Goulart had Flamingo. I don't know if she rode him for the entire year but I remember her showing him at quite a few shows.

Old Salt beautifully ridden by Katherine Burdsall (but I could never understand how he got some many top ribbons in the hunters??)
Wasn't Cruz Bay also ridden by Kara Flynn Hofstetter?
