    Default UBO saddles?

I'm saddle shopping for my new mare AGAIN--she had a saddle as of three weeks ago, but has since popped up a wither, gained some weight, and added some muscles, so now the narrow tree no longer fits her. Which takes me out of the "awesome saddles for really cheap on EBay just 'cause they're a narrow tree" world that I was so excited to be in. The good thing is that she's a really honest medium tree now, and easy to fit.

I came across a UBO saddle, cut like a XC saddle with rear blocks and a forward flap. I had been under the impression that they were somehow connected to Stubben or Passier, but that's wrong (no idea where I got the idea) and they in fact still exist as a company. Their saddles retail around $2k, made in Germany.

Has anyone had one? Are they decent quality? Hold up well? Easy fit for most horses? Is the reason I can't find much about them online because people hold onto them until their dying breath?

They are very similar to the older Stubben saddles. The ones I have seen seem to keep up pretty good
Every time you ride, your are either teaching or un-teaching your horse.
