yea, in a dressage lesson when i was like 16 my trainer said,
"you look like you're humping the saddle, you're too young for that!" b/c i had the tendancy to hunch over and not sit up straight in dressage.

My favorite all time, after Frank and I got our signals crossed yet again. "Never Assume!! It makes an A$$ out of U and ME" I've heard that so many times, that now I can judge when he is about to say it to some poor kid and can mouth it along behind his back.
Oh, and I loved his comment after one prelim round "That was as exciting as watching paint dry". We won the class anyhow!!

one time in Florida this was said by a very well known trainer to a famous junior rider after she had EATEN a single in the hunter classic:
"DAMMIT! If you wanted yellow flowers that bad I would have gone to Wal-Mart and bought you some! Then I wouldnt have wasted $50!!!"
