Default Reverse the Charges - Brilliant!

Now why didn't I think of this? I'm going to ask the guys at the barn to pay me for the quality time they get with my horse while blanketing him.

    There are no words.
There's slavery and indentured servitude, and then there's. . .this.

No kidding! Even unpaid working students get to ride!
Michael: Seems the people who burned me want me for a job.
Sam: A job? Does it pay?
Michael: Nah, it's more of a "we'll kill you if you don't do it" type of thing.
Sam: Oh. I've never liked those.

wow, even unpaid I would think it was rather brazen, but simply outrageous. I guess it never hurts to try, huh?

but not unheard of; we have a person who comes twice a week to take care of the nine head we have.... completely voluntary... just wants the ability to have the access to horses... without the cost of ownership

Geez, wish I'd thought of this when my kids were younger -- instead of paying babysitters I could have CHARGED them for the privilege of spending precious time with my delightful offspring. (They really were pretty darn cute).

They are teenagers now; might be a harder sell.
