I was Bob. Atleast that was my screename.

I don't care that you put that there, but I just want to know why. I never had any problems with any of you, that I can remember.

Maybe the memorable event from this year that whoever put Bob, meant Fred' grey horse that died?

I don't recall Bob either.

My favourite thread was of course

You all missed Bob?

About a month ago Bob. He showed up on the dressage forum and the hunting forum. Caused quit a stir on the dressage forum.

I don't think you are the same Bob. You certainly don't have his tone.

There can't be two of them. OHHHHH PLEASE don't let there be two of them. SWOOOONNNN

RzB,

You're not the "Bob" they're talking about. There was another "Bob" that I saw posting on the hunting and dressage forums. He was a piece of work! (Check out the "To frock or not to frock" thread in Hunting for some classic Bob!)

But you're great!

This still leaves me wondering who Ryan is these days!

Terribly sorry for the confusion, RzB. Bob upset the proverbial apple cart in the dressage forum, as Maria mentioned. An example of Bob's charm can be found in this thread: BTV.

Did you guys see some newbie on the hunting thread inviting BOB to come back. That we 'needed' his insightful posts.

Edited to say the above was just agreeing with him. But I KNOW I read somewhere that someone wanted him to return.

Rzb- ryan, I wasn't referring to you, I don't think. This was a later "Bob" one that stirred up a bunch of trouble on the dressage board (and foxhunting too?).

No offense meant Ryan!!! I want you to stay on the island!!!

I'd like to thank the members of the BB academy, my director, the producers, Home Box Office, all the trainers I had along the way, my wonderful horses...

But seriously folks:

1. Your Favorite Thread of the Year – Robby Johnson’s thread about Brain Injuries
2. Thread that has impacted you the most – Cactuskate’s passing
3. Thread that just wouldn't die – Paul Valliere. In all forms. And keep them coming.
4. Thread that you wish had never died – Question for Merry (okay, so it wasn’t from this year but it is my All Time Favorite)
5. Topic that has given you re-occuring nightmares – San Jacinto
6. Person who posts for no reason but to see their name in lights – none
7. Best username – They’re all great and everyone has a reason for them, whether it’s real name or fun name or horse name or silly name.
8. Most annoying username – See Number 7
9. Most inspirational poster – Cactuskate
10. Poster in most need of visiting a sanitarium – Colin (but I had the BEST time with her at dinner earlier this year, along with Chef, Taryn and N2Jumpers – we had a nice loud dinner at Javier’s Cantina in Laguna Beach and we loffed it!)
11. Poster whose threads you look most forward to reading – Robby Johnson and Dublin
12. Poster who you want to come back as in your next life – Jamie Taylor, so that I can ride as well as this very talented BBer
13. Poster who you most want to meet in person – Make a list of every person who posts here!
14. Clique that you most want to be a member of – Bbers Who Can Wear Size 28 Breeches And Get Into Their Boots Without Apoplexy
15. Poster whose horse you would jump in front of a train for – A real train?
16. Poster that always puts you in a good mood – Too many to list
17. Most Valuable Friend/s that you have gained as a result of this BB – That’s like saying “Mama, who is your favorite child?” I have made many wonderful friends as a result of this BB; Dublin and Mr. Dublin came down in March and we spent a great day in HB; Akrogirl, AAJumper and Cactuskate met up with Taryn and me at The Oaks last year and it was a gas; Chef and I have lunch; Countingstrides and I are at the same barn; Taryn was here and sadly moved to Riverside; Pinkerdo is my best friend; Canyonoak is a longtime email buddy who I had the great honor of meeting last week; Merry and I met up again after 20+ years at my barn last year; Beezer and I seem destined to NEVER meet even though I drive past her office EVERY DAY; Autumn Hill Farm who is helping with Willem’s website and from whom I must buy a foal one day because they are divine; Khobstetter for meeting up with again, 30+ years after taking my first English lessons from her; I just loff every BBer I correspond with – there is a very long list and I am mad about all of you - every one I post with, bla bla bla. I would love to do a BB Tour Of The US and Canada and meet up with everyone. SHARE THE LOFF.
18. Most memorable event from the BB this year – Sitting at the office and reading about Cactuskate’s passing – I will never forget her.
19. Poster who you want to "vote off the island – No one. Even if there are some with which I have occasional differences, the privilege of posting on this BB is a gift and all the components of it are more of the same gift.
20. Thing you would change most about the BB – Nothing.
21. What you like best about the BB – ALL OF YOU
22. Has any - one/thing/topic - changed the way you live? MargaretF has me finding more and more opportunities for helping abused / neglected / homeless / in need horses.
23. In general - how was 2002 for you? By all rights, I should have been dead after my fall. Every day is a gift. To share this with such a wonderful group of people is an honor.

Aw, shucks. That would be me.

Geez, that was in spring of 2001....I have recovered (for the most part) psychologically, but the bunny bashing station wagon couldn't get over it's guilt and blew to pieces on the highway this past August. *sniff* I feel SO loved. I can't believe both Sister and Maria believe I need to be in a sanitarium and that they would still want to visit me (since they said they'd want to meet me) once I've been put away.

Does Rolex count as a sanitarium?

Velvet, we would most certainly want to come visit you. Afterall, look at all the nice things we can do to you, errrr for you while your hands are tied behind you back. White is definatly you color.

Sister, are you going to Rolex? I am supposed to with joliemom, as long as I have the $'s. Velvet is going to be there pending her release from the sanitarium. I thought I read that she would be going in style. Piggybacking on Reed's back.

Yes, the reservations have been made, tickets will be ordered as soon as they are available, boss has been duly warned of my absence for a week, money will be saved (lots and lots of money!).

I MUST meet both you, Maria, and Joliemom! I've got plans for stalking Velvet over Christmas. Muahahahahahaha!

And yes, RAyers can catch a ride with either one of us, but I think he and Velvet would make such a cute couple!
