Default Fitting a 2 horse trailer for ponies

OK, time to specialize in ponies. We have two 12.2 Welsh and need to lower the chest bar and butt bars. Any suggestions?

Bump. Surely someone has had to refit a trailer and lower bars.

Could you have some rings welded at the height you need them and use covered chains with heavy snaps on them? That way the chest and butt bars are still in place if you need to ship a horse.
