    Well, I am glad they didn't leave the tail dyed as it was absolutely beautiful the way it was. That is one good looking horse and that long white tail is eyecatching just the way it is.

    As far as names, Bodemeister is better than Daddy Nose Best. If DKB is within a whisker of winning the Triple Crown , as much as I'd like to see another TC winner, I don't think I could root for a horse with that name. Talk about a name that doesn't sound right next to Citation, Whirlaway, Secretariat, etc! I know it is silly to set much store by names but still... Daddy Nose Best...no.

    Seattle Slew wasn't the noblest of names. But he was Seattle Slew, so it didn't matter.
