I have an older (~19) gray paint gelding that I bought 1 1/2 yrs ago for up-down, learn to canter lessons. He was serviceably sound with maintenance, when I bought him. I never used him for lessons due to my own health issues. He has now sat for a year, and is no longer sound for riding.
He is very easy to get along with. He does not pick fights and gets along with pretty much everyone, even my mother's aged Arab that has been picked on his entire life. T/O with mares or geldings. Easy keeper. Will be UTD on everything before leaving here.
He was a camp horse before I bought him, and loves attention. I used him to teach some 4-H kids to groom and he happily stood on X-ties for a very long grooming session, with multiple kids working on him at once.
We already have quite a few pasture pets/retires on the farm, so I would like to find this guy a companion home if possible.
