The dressage saddles look very Star Trek to me. I could see Captain Kirk riding in one while visiting a planet of horse people.
I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

Well that explains it; I'm a Trekkie! BTW Captain Picard has his own saddle, and out there in the future future it was quite a conventional leather AP saddle.

The 9 year old I babysit for has a bridle with zebra print and pink jewel hearts on it. Yeah it's really tacky but she's 9 so I guess it's ok. And then I learned that her mom lets her show in it!

Sadly, I can see my son's father and/or his idiot brother using the stripper tack. Ugh.

That one dressage saddle looks like they skinned Kermit and made him a saddle!

You make fun of the bling tack and others die laughing that the English folk ride in suits and top hats! To each his own.
I personally think some of the stuff looks pretty fun and I would have loved that diversity in tack when I was a little girl.
Per the stripper shank......well, at least one could identify straight away that the guy was an asshole!! Just as telling as the stripper truck mud flaps!

Complete with running martingale! ...I think I had this set for Barbie's horse. (Anyone remember the white one with a purple mane and hooves? I called mine "Rosebud.")
ETA: I am less creative than I thought. The horse's name was actually Rosebud on the box: http://images1.americanlisted.com/nl...ge_7648875.jpg
