    Default Hoof pad question.

The ground has been SO hard and dry here that I am concerned about my jumper's comfort, especially since he turned 14 this year. After jumping, I pack his feet with Forshner's. (I like magic cushion better, I'll be swtiching back to that after I run out of Forshners)but I am wondering about putting the thinline pads on his feet, especially with how dry/hard the ground appears it is going to be this summer. Thoughts/suggestions... and if I am being over paranoid, it is okay to tell me to stop fiddling :-)
