Good advice from all. Milk test and dang, my two maidens insisted on being OUT ... Screw the foaling stall lol ....2 great foals born outside!

She has looked at her flanks a couple of times and is moving around. Not resting much.
Eating hay now though.. Goodnight and good luck!

She has been pawing and wanting to go down. Can't seem to find the right spot, though.

Of course, she has just been standing around since my previous post - hoovering her stall, looking out the window, etc. And she is now backed into a corner - can't tell if she is pressing on the wall or just standing there - but her attention seems focused on the window. Maybe waiting for breakfast - ?

Look at the photo there. Now, don't you feel a little better?
I'll watch until Midnight MDT.
WOWSA. Thanks Skydy. I do feel better now. Especially after reading that the poor mare had a normal delivery!

She's down, but appears to just be resting - although occasionally stretches a hind leg as though she is uncomfortable. Poor dear - she had such a hard time laying down, just couldn't figure out how to gracefully lower that big body to the ground. I am sure it is a relief to get off her feet, though.
And looking at her side every so often. And she was flat out on her side for a moment, but didn't appear to be pushing. She does look uncomfortable, though - so might be thinking about getting the show on the road.

And now she is back up, snacking. Did lots of tail lifting and hindleg lifting when she got up.
