Currently selling some horses and the sad part is that they are not that far of from reality...

I needed that this morning ... hilarious.

    Wow. Super harsh.

Erm, this isn't just in the dressage world. Boy, that brought back memories of selling horses and watching uber rich ladies-who-lunch buy $900 trail horses for $25K from an (supposed, never looked him up, maybe I should) Olympic rider...who pulled them out of the back pasture, spiffed them up, slapped a hefty price tag and sold them. Kind of off topic, a smidge, but the whole vid is on the nose.

    GR24:

    Saw it myself.
Rich Ignoramus decides he wants horses for the whole family, himself, wife, 3 kids.
Everyone Shall Ride! < he decrees.

Noone rides exept Ig & he does not ride well (think sack o' something).

Local livery BO falls all over himself & sells Ig 5 livery horses, each one less suitable than the next.

Turned out Ig's family had no intention of ever sitting on a horse.

So Ig builds a million dollar (literally) facility to house his herd - 16 stalls total, so 11 peons allowed to subsidize Ig's hobby.

The fun lasted 10 years, then IRS stepped in & Ig ended up donating the whole shebang to a handicapped riding program.

Hmmm...maybe I need to put that up on Xtra......
