The first picture is Ironman and his cat, the second and third are Ironman posing for visitors, and I will add they are in the ring with him loose. The fourth is Ironman performing for visitors, there were about a dozen or so in the ring with him. Someones dad took this picture. He always puts on a show when people are watching him. The last picture is Ironrule and myself, Rule giving me a hug. Ironman does the same thing, I just don't have a picture of it. I wish I had pictures of some of the many small children who have ridden him.

Thank you...I would love to have him licensed. They make it really tough. He is branded Hanoverian. Their two stallion inspections are in Maryland and California. We are in Texas.

Then, we don't want to send him off to the 70 Day Test...take him out of competition and have an unknown trainer ride him for 70 days.

He is competing in hunters...AHS doesn't have a way of obtaining qualifying scores competing in hunters...only dressage, jumping or eventing.

So, there you go for AHS...

The sound did not come through at all in the video - he's making sucking noises like the coffee maker finishing off a pot - but if you watch his cheeks, well, you get the idea... He'll spend hours like that!

    Wizard

Wally and Dillon don't really have any cutesy tricks - other than how fast a treat can disappear! Wally wins the speed record for making a carrot vanish, though!

I don't have any cutsie pictures or videos of my stallion; however, he is a sweet boy and both my children (teenagers) handle him daily. He hauls with mares to competitive trail events, stands tied to the trailer all day with horses all around him at schooling shows, and is a gentleman all the way around. He is truly an amateur's dream on demeanor alone. The video clips are from a lesson a couple of months ago and the pics show him doing both of "his" disciplines - dressage & competitive trail (my son competes on his mare & because he's a junior I ride as his "buddy") as well as just hanging out after our classes (recognized dressage show) are over. His first foal crop is due in a couple of weeks (I synchronized my mares) and we're hoping to see that he passes on his temperament.

It is an excellent registry, but he does not have to be licensed exclusively with them, does he? I know BWP has a hunter book and some other registries do as well, which may suit his attributes better.

This is an expensive process, to be sure, but they have excellent trainers, facility, riders, etc. I'm not negating your points, just trying to point out the good as well.

I remembered - I do have a cute photo of Avebury! Such a fierce, wild stallion! This is his idea of a busy day at an event here in Area II.

Yes, I could get him licensed through some other registries. But, again...it is either send him to the 70 day test or pass their performance requirements. Which are tough for a young stallion. For example, BWP requires 5 year olds to compete in the First Year Greens jumping 3'6"...6 year olds must compete in 2nd Year Greens jumping 3'9".

We are competing our 5 year old stallion in the pre-greens...3'. We don't want him to jump that high on a consistent basis at 5.

But, thanks for the suggestion. If you have any others I'm all ears.

Here are a couple videos of our boy! He has been with Hillary Irwin who did an AMAZING job of starting him eventing for us! He is going to Sharon White as soon as we can find the time to get him up there, and our 4 y/o Formula One filly is staying with Hillary!
