Default A New Trend in Dressage Bling? "Designer Horseshoes"

Better show this to your farrier if you want to keep up with the bling crowd.

Meh, those can't hold a candle to the ones put on my beastie by a university farrier in the Northeast.

Not only were these a cool prototype glue on, but they retailed for $60 a pair! The glue came in some (fugly) colors. Barrel racers, for example, could get neon pink and orange. Just to make matters worse, I had farrier and his students mix up a lovely french blue for WildVicious.

No way anyone could have missed the status symbols on his feet.

And the shoes plus expert trim job were quite functional. What I wouldn't give for another of these $500 shoeing jobs.

I bet some humorless legal type at Gucci or wherever will sue them for trademark misuse.

Bling? What bling? I don't see any embedded rhinestones.

Hmmm... I wonder if I COULD persuade my blacksmith to embed rhinestones in our quarterclips, though?

Wow, they stole my idea. I have long suggested to the equine podiatrist that his prices would be more palatable if he at least put the Nike swoosh or something on them.

Go ahead and ask. I'm sure it will make his/her day.

I was thinking the same thing.
