Default HR: when two horse people marry :)

There's been a ton of threads on this recently, and since our wedding was almost exclusively "horsey," I thought I'd throw this up so others can get some ideas!

    When two horse people marry:
Your DH will show his, uh, discipline, in his choice of clothing
Your discipline might be obvious in a more subtle way
    Your farrier is a guest!
    Cops show up....
You find you can't put down a fork even outside of stalls. Seriously, the fork was in a lot of pictures.

    Some of our decorations included:
    Recycled horseshoe candle holders.
Apple and sugar cube centerpieces (and yes, you might even catch a friend eating the decorations...).
"Boy" and "girl" horseshoes on the cake table, with a pot full of rolled oats, on a runner of burlap.
We also had half barrels filled with straw and topped with apples.

Had to share!! Hopefully the mods will leave it up!

Congrats! Lovely pictures. My BO is a 70 year old cowboy that my pom adores. He came out of the house dressed in his best jeans and cowboy attire as he was headed to a wedding and she growled at him! Didn't recognize him all spiffed up until he called her name.

Beautiful red vest, very appropriate there.

I like a fellow that knows what hat to wear and how to wear it.

Thanks for showing the pictures and definitely it was horse related, yes it was.

The Mods won't dare touch this! Completely horse related and either making everyone else jealous or giving others great ideas. Very lovely and thanks for sharing. Best wishes!

Thanks everyone! It was a blast, we made everything ourselves; the Farrier gave us about 150 old shoes for free. We wound up gifting about half or more of the candle holders out to guests, which was awesome. Even better, you can kinda tell in some of the pics, but it was held in a remodeled horse barn!!

And I love my red dress!
