    Default Cross Post..Pour In Pads

    Who routinely uses Pour In Pads along w/ shoes for their horse(s) for everyday use not just special competition/ occassions.

    Me! OTTB with extremely thin soles (got a small P3 Fx walking around in a snow-packed paddock one winter).

    Pour-in pads keep him sound and happy.....

    In my opinion, there should be a reason such as what animaldoc says. Long term, they can cause "funk". Yes, funk.

    In the case that they need to be used long term, they should be left off every few rotations. The CS (Copper Sulfate) version is excellent for fighting the "funk", but it will still show up eventually.
