The answer is no, but you prodded a memory for me! I worked with a racehorse by Crimson Guard named Character Actor and he was, indeed, quite a character!
He was also gorgeous: dark bay, blinding dapples and lots of chrome. He was a happy, happy boy and we gave him a wide birth in the shedrow! He squealed a lot, which I always thought was hysterical.

So Crimson Guard is standing as a sport horse sire?

Quick Googling didn't pop up anything, do you have a link to an ad?

Man, he IS gorgeous! Can anyone shed some light on his progeny for something other than racing? I'd be interested in knowing about what he throws, especially in terms of temperament and discipline potential.

Kinda what I was wondering....not typical to breed to something that's only proven on the track but I couldn't help drooling over his confo for potential sporthorse breeding not to mention he's got some Eventing bloodlines (Nearco, etc) in him. Too bad he went to the track instead of coming out as an Eventer hehe

Can y'all please tell me what you think is so nice about him?

He looks typically Northern Dancer to me, with a very heavy body. He's certainly not uphill: and even though he has a huge engine, he's terribly croup high.

I'm trying to improve my eye.

Now this is a stallion who I think would make some lovely eventing babies. This guy has a lovely pedigree from top to bottom and he looks just beautiful to me:

He's a pure turf horse. And his pedigree is very, very nice, especially for the dressage aspect of eventing with Forli on the bottom and Chandelier and High Top on the top.
