    Default Breakaway halter that's cob or yearling sized

    with a leather crown and no throat snap -- anyone know where I can order one?

    Nothing with horses is ever easy or cheap. And if it is, you're doing it wrong. They always rip out part of your soul when they leave. I guess that's how they find us later.

    Just go with leather. I believe my cob size all leather halter for every day is Perry's. No throat latch...probably paid $35-40 for it.

    This is what I have. I think it was less than that, though. Good quality. Nicely made. Nice, every day halter.

    I buy those from TSC pretty often, but I shop at the store. Have you tried their website?
    It's 2015. Do you know where your old horse is?

    I looked at the TSC website and saw only horse sizes but it's good to know TSC has them. I often leave a breakaway on my big horse in turnout too. The cob halter is for a pony that needs a grazing muzzle.
