Default 15.3 h 8yr tb gelding in Delaware

Likewise is a gorgeous 15.3 h 8yr Tb gelding currently located in Delaware. He was been with his owner since a yearling and he was never raced. He received all of his training with a professional event rider and competed up to training level eventing. He's extremely well schooled on the flat and over fences.

It was discovered that he has kissing spines in one vertebra in his back. He has received injections and a full course of shockwave. He has been back in work for three months after his treatment and continues to be sound and happy.

His owner feels as though he shouldn't be jumping at that level anymore and would like to find him a lower level career preferably as a dressage horse. He has always been sound so the vets believe that he should not have any issues as long as he has a properly fitted saddle and keeps his back muscles in condition.

He is a lovely horse with perfect manners, no vices, clips, ties, trailers and is just as sweet as they come. He has great feet and is an easy keeper.

It's very important that he find the right home but his owner pledges that he has a home for life if he ever needed to come back. Please PM for pics/video.

What level rider is suitable for him?
We could all take a lesson from crayons some are sharp, some are beautiful, some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they still learn to live in the same box. Unknown.

Yes, smaller jumps would be fine. We have been jumping him over small stuff but he shouldn't have a career where he needs to jump big fences.

He is best suited for an intermediate rider because he is so well trained that he is fairly sensitive to the aids. He's not a hot horse but he is soft in the mouth (goes in just a nathe bit) so I say the person has to have decent hands.

Here is a video with a student riding him. She had never ridden him before but was home from college and I had her hop on. She declared him her favorite horse that she had ever ridden at my barn
