Default What do you put in the corner of your short wall trailer tack room?

I have a hawk 2+1 and struggle with how to best make use of the corner just to the left of the inside of the door of the tack room. The "+1" is a slant, and so I have a short wall tackroom - i.e. the tack room wall is also on a slant. (http://www.hawktrailers.com/images/3...006.pdf#page=2)
Right now I have a rectangular plastic two drawer stuck in there, which leaves a little triangle space behind to stuff things in, like a broom, dressage whips, etc.
I dream of something that is a triangle shape too that will make the most of that space....does it exist?

If you can find one, let me know. I have been dying to find a corner storage unit. I do the same as you. I use that corner for whips, a broom, and stall chains.

You can get wire organizers for showers that come with spring loaded or expandable rods. They are often made for corners. Some even have hooks for hanging things.

Then you can have a regular closet for your tall stuff.

I made my own modular cabinets/boot locker. Use 1/2 plywood that you can anchor to the wall frame using stainless steel (wrapped in teflon tape).

In my case they are both a step up onto the bed and a seat.

Just had an idea that might be more than you would consider.

There are corner shower stalls available. If they are available in mini size, you could get one, install it in the corner, have a drain installed, and, voila, a place to use water safely. When not in use, you can use it for a closet.

Go to your local RV center and ask - they specialize in units that fit in corners and small spaces.

Also you can get a tall mesh organizer for kid's toys you could hang there. Could fit loads of polos, sponges, boots etc in it?

    Thank you for the ideas!

I don't really need water storage, or a shower option - though my fellow area 2 competitors may disagree, lol.

I will look around and report back.

Reed, how about more detail on your trailer choices and custom handiwork? How does one attach the teflon tape and stainless steel screws without having the steel touch the aluminum?

I have an elderly kingston '88 that I'm going to have replace, so I'm very interested in how one outfits the trailer.
