Thanks ChocoMare! I remember you guys saying, keep looking, the guy is not going to budge (on the original farm) and we did and this is just so much better. Not was much land but flatter land, closer to work, and CHEAPER, so we can afford to put the fence up we want, the barn up we want. I just can't wait!!!

Excited to hear your stories of giving it some TLC and can't wait to see the outcome! I love older places like that. It's just cuter than a button.

P.S. Don't ever go into that basement at night alone!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am SO excited for ya!!!
I LOVE the way the barn is right behind your house. I am building a new barn now, and putting it behind our house too. I think it is more private, and it is FAR more convenient! Are you still going to be in Pennsylvania? I was up there a few years ago, in "Paradise"......I see why they named it that....some of the prettiest country I have ever laid my eyes on!

We are! Only about 30 minutes from where we are now. But closer for both of us to work. It's all beautiful farm lands around us wrapped around with mountains. On one side we have a huge mountain and on the other rolling farm lands!

Hooray for you! That idiot seller at the prior property is going to regret he let such good buyers go, but that's not your problem. Have fun with your new farm! Take lots of photos. We are still amazed at how much we have changed our farm from when we bought it in 1998.

Thanks for following up with this wonderful news.
