    We use two old fiberglass contractors job boxes. Looks something like this but not metal. http://images.usa4sale.net/175px_12518872063_1.jpg

    We use the relatively large water tanks - plastic ones - and DH build plywood lids w/ a hinge. Warning - lids are heavy, and require a rope/chain from flipping backwards, all the way open and breaking. But rodent proof and moveable when relatively empty.
