    Thumbs up Update 4-14

Things are going just great in Germany. The rider colony at Andreas' barn is truely an international group with riders from Finland, Sweden, Hungary and so on. Everyone is learning German, so Sara is certainly not the lone one there.

Sara and Harry have been XC schooling at Luhmuhlen on a regular schedule and she rides a number of other horses there too. They hack through the village and around several different loop trails through the preserve that is right outside of the barn doors. Every horse is out twice a day.

Poor Harry was dubbed "Pudgey One" which means that his feed chart has a little minus sign beside every ingredient. For anyone who knows Harry this would seem tragedy of epic proportions. He is getting double atta boys for his temperment and easy of handling, so maybe when he slims down a bit he can have a treat!

The long awaited Riding License has been granted, we think. All the paperwork is in German, so Sara is waiting for an interpretation just to be sure that it is what is looks to be! Their competition schedule has been planned, as far as you can plan anything with reguard to horses, and they are set to begin mid May in Poland. I don't know where or which horses she will be riding, but I will find out at some point.

All in all, the summer is looking to be a major International Experience for all of us. Yay, I think this was a good plan!!!!
