I haven't personally hauled one but from the mountains of trailer research I've done the Elite is a really good brand. One of the things I hear the most is that their welding is superior. I think it's one of the better trailers out there.

up a creek without a saddle

I have a 6/8 horse head to head Elite. It's a nice enough trailer and I'd probably think better of it IF...I'd never had a 4-Star. Which is what I traded in to buy the Elite, and now I think 4-Star is a far better trailer.

    Waaaaay back Slaughter Holler

I have had two Elite trailers- one with living quarters, one without. I felt they were very high quality and never had any issues with either of them. I would definitely buy another one.
