My OTTB's racing name was "Private Pleasure". Don't Google it!
There was a COTH/ATC team named Fifty Shades of Hay this year. I loved it!

Great name!
(and don't you love when something pops in your head and you just know it's going to be what you name your horse?)

No it does not. I remember a neat jumper mare named "Twice a Night". Can't say the same for that name....
I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

They tried the name ' Gros Nouchons' first but France Galop rejected it, so went with the English version.
Now that is a slutty name.
I heard a neigh. Oh, such a brisk and melodious neigh as that was! My very heart leaped with delight at the sound. --Nathaniel Hawthorne

My mares registered name is "One Night Stand" what a coincidence! The horse across the aisle is the "Happy Hooker". Really was not planned.

I knew someone who had a horse named 'Night Moves' years ago, and he mounted a mare in the warm up ring! Well named, I guess.

Belle's dam was "French Letters".
Can't believe the JC let it through.

I don't think this one got accepted, but a mare by Mexican General named Sexy Mexy had a foal by Ski Resort. They wanted to name her Sex on the Slopes. But, Hoof Hearted DID get by them.
I think the OP's name is an excellent and clever choice.

There was a racehorse in Australia named Far Call. Looks innocent enough on paper so it snuck through the Registrar but just try saying fast like a race caller would! It got changed after its first start.

I love KOL and fantasize about having a cute little mare named Taper Jean Girl.
That's funny, because I want to get a TB and name it "Skinny Jeans."
OP - I think its a great name!
It may seem like I'm interested in what you're saying, but in my mind a bipedal wolf is chopping down a totem pole while yelling "BO-RING, BO-RING, BO-RING."

I do recall seeing a QH by the name 'Gay Bar Streaker' and I thought that was rather hilarious. And a show jumper called 'That's What She Said'.
As for the OP, Only By Night sounds like nothing compared to some of the examples on this thread haha.

I think that I will have the winner.
My current BM had worked at a private farm that did some racing TB breeding. A broodmare there had a totally decent normal name. BM inquired about the mare's pedigree, and the Owner was a little squimish about disclosing the dam's side.
Finally, owner tells her the dam was.....drum roll please........
Falatian Queen.
(And yes, it is in reference to what you think it means).
Friend was all *ewwwwwww*. Owner was embarassed.
*sigh* stupid name by an idiot man, no doubt.
