Default Herd of Horses Chase off Bear!

I know where my horses would be heading and it wouldn't be toward the bear!

I don't know, that was a very young looking bear and the horses were a bit insecure, but as horses do, were kind of interested and, since the bear was moving away, were following it.

If the bear had turned around and chased them, I doubt the horses had done other than turn tail and take off for a little, then whirl around to see if this was play or serious.

I did see the other night my old horse chasing feral hogs with pinned ears and charging them, running them out of his pens.

He was mad and meant to stomp them, but also, if one had chased him back, he probably would have had second thoughts about it in a hurry, he is not really aggressive.

Why am I not surprised it's an Appaloosa in the lead?

Hahha, my Appy would do that, too. He doesn't like anything invading his pasture.
