Another fashion thread: help me find a BROWN show coat
So... because I intend to show seriously this year, it's time for a fashion upgrade. What I have so far is brown tack with brass fittings and a cream saddle pad. I seem to have found cream breeches (crosses fingers).
I really, really want a brown show coat. Pikeur coats are beautiful, but not made for short curvy people, so they're out. Pinstripes are fine; plaid is not. I wear a 10 petite in (American vanity sized) street clothes, anywhere from a 12 to a 16 in riding coats, am a bit busty (34D), and do have a waistline. I am somewhat prone to overheating and show in New England summer weather, so fabrics need to breathe.
And ... in my dreams, add a cream or off white short-sleeved show shirt in a technical fabric, and/or a cream or off white pre-tied stock tie. I do not not not look good in pure white. At all. Ever.
Any links etc. would be much appreciated

I have a gorgeous Golden Dress brown dressage frock that I found on eBay about six months ago. Unfortunately, Golden Dress is no more. So, I realize that I'm not help there. Here is a picture of it though:
If you're short, a hunt coat might be good. I prefer my hunt coat as a dressage coat is just too long for me. Just wanted to add that if you end up not finding a brown that you like, navy looks great with brown tack.
I found a really nice cream pre-tied Eurpoean stock tie from the "Wellington Collection". I got mine at Horseloverz.com for $5 - yup, $5. They normally sell for $50-60. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have them anymore. You can also try eBay. Equine Rider Accessories makes cream stock ties. They are in Australia, but ship quick.
Thank you everyone, belatedly (thank to a combination of elderly father, elderly car, and naughty horse issues... I've been preoccupied!) You've given me a lot of good suggestions.
I probably should have been more specific about brown shades... I am a (dyed, but very natural looking) redhead with pinkish, freckled skin, so a "richer" or redder brown is better than chocolate or dark brown. I also look absolutely dead in white!
I tried on a brown coat at the local Dover Saddlery today, but the sizing was weird (ran very, very large... until it didn't. The 8 was too big and the 6 was tiny and the sleeves would only fit the arms of a child). I have a navy pinstripe option if I decide to go with navy; it was a stretch fabric, very attractive, fit perfectly, and was not terribly expensive. And then had to listen to the saleswoman go on and on about how fussy dressage judges are, and I really, really should only wear white breeches (na-ah, NO WAY), a white shirt/stock tie and a black, or maybe, maybe very dark navy coat. And have a black saddle and white saddle pad. Luckily I know from y'all that that isn't true!

I show in a brown coat-the RJ classics one-with black tack. I do wear white instead of cream as my last horse had a ton of white and I was afraid the cream would just look dirty with her. My new horse hasn't got a stitch of white and I have considered changing to cream. I even wore a brown top hat-gorgeous-and got a ton of positive comments. I won't be wearing the top hat anymore, having gone all helmets, all the time.
Do not toy with the dragon, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup!
