Spanish Riding School - 1952
A look back in time. Can anybody identify the rider and horse?

I'll ask Andreas Hausburger. Unless you already know the answer, Mike?

It does look like Podhajsky. Andreas isn't around yet today. Will post as soon as I hear.

Podhajsky is my hero! I love his books, especially "My Horses, My Teachers".
But to be totally honest, that it was he was a lucky guess.

Somoone commented under the photo that her horse did this! I know the feeling - I used to ride a jumper who'd come into a fence doing his version of caprioles. It was a bi^ch to count strides!
