Default Does anyone have OLD EQUUS magazines?

I'm cross-posting this in several forums.

One of the early EQUUS magazines had a cover picture and feature article on a Standardbred, Nevele Pride. My collection got gone years ago, and I've thought of that article numerous times and wish I could get a copy.

I'm thinking the issue was in the early '70s?

I suppose I should write EQUUS...but if anyone has this issue, could you tell my date and issue number if there is one?

    Thanks!

I read the first issue of Equus when I was in the hospital with my first child, Sept 1977. I have almost a complete set, I'll see if I can find the issue you are looking for

If Carolprudm doesn't have it, PM me. I have almost all of them and I'm getting ready to send them to recycle.

Wow - that SI article is amazing. And just as compelling as I remember the Equus one. I understand putting up with some attitude from a superior being (athlete, businessperson, whatever), but ... NP was something I wouldn't want more of on the ground. Wonder if his get inherited his disposition? If so, I sure hope they inherited the speed and 'want to' along with it.

    Thanks for the link.
