Aut of the Balou by Amazing
We at Worth A Shot Farm are very pleased to announce the birth of "Aut of the Balou" a strapping bay colt by Amazing (Balou Du Rouet)This colt is everything and more that we could have ever wished for with this cross. Amazing really has stamped another one of his foals. Since we were really hoping for a keeper filly we have just booked back to Amazing to try again for next year. I am so happy we chose to breed to him. Thanks Ahna

My mare had a lovely buckskin filly by Good as Gold (goodtimes) out of my tb mare. Baby is super correct, with just a small star. No idea how to post pics to here from my phone, but will get some up as soon as I can get to my computer. She looks like she'll be her dads color buckskin. Really wish my mare didn't outdo herself on this one, I kept last years filly, and didn't expect to like this one so much! Why do they do that to us? This is also her last foal, so its a bit bittersweet.

Dia Dhuit m2s is Born (Condios x Ahorn x Erdball xx)
Yesterday Dia Dhuit m2s was born. This brown colt is by Condios (Coriano x Landgraf I) and is out of Harnita (Ahorn x Erdball xx x Marco Polo). This colt is a half-brother to the international showjumpers Wang Chung m2s, Nanita, and Tarnita and the 1.20 m. jumper Ahsianita m2s. The extended damline has produced many international showjumpers and stallions.

Ahf - Since the foals don't look the same age, I'm going to guess that dear old Mamma mare there has taken on an orphan! Too cute.

Kerole wins! That's exactly what happened. The bay filly was born two weeks ago, and lost her mother to colic on Monday. The chestnut colt was born on Tuesday, and the staff and students at Va. Tech (M.A.R.E. center) managed to convince the mare she had twins.
I was so tickled by this story.

Ahf - that's not quite the story I had in my head. I just figured the younger foal was the newly orhaned one! How incredibly sweet. Go that lovely mare.

Our Grafenstolz foal is here! Very tall filly, dark bay, a hint of a snip and a small slipper-sock on her right hind. Easy to handle, brave and laid back. 10 hours old in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5pmp_y1v28
Pedigree here: http://www.sporthorse-data.com/db.ph...ime=1336265451
We are thrilled with her! Exactly what we wanted!
