Dang, did you see the price on him? A gelding, no Olympics?

ohhhh - if only there were a few more $$ in my checkbook, or my savings account or somewhere else legal...Think I'll go buy a few lottery tickets

How nice to read that a horse of this quality is also the temperment that a capable amateur can deal with.

No Olympics (yet), but double gold at Pan-Am, and swept Aachen. I believe he is also undefeated.

Compared to some other horses' prices, I think he needs to go in the "steal of a deal" thread!

High quality youth/amateur horses routinely fetch this in H/J land.

Regardless of his price, he's quite lovely and I'm sure will make someone a WONDERFUL horse.

It makes me wonder about Cesar Parra's Pan Am ride Grandioso recently seling to Glock. I wonder what Grandioso sold for?

Or Big Tyme selling to Betsy Julliano?

    Thankfully Heather owns Paragon.

As much as they hate to do it, I can totally see why. It will be good for them and the horse. Realistically, given the horse could be injured tomorrow and be worth $0, it makes sense. However, it is still hard to say good bye to your horse of a lifetime no matter if it is 750 or 750,000, that's for sure.

There's a polo dude in Wellington w/ big bucks who is adopting his girl friend (???) to protect some of his assets before going to jail. Perhaps you - we - could get in line!!

We should start doing a horsey lottery lol! Everyone in the horse world gives a dollar every month and there is a drawing at the end of each month! lol

Then you could get the horse of your dreams when you win and it would also put money back into the industry

Visiting from H/J, but I too thought he would be over $1,000,000. I wonder who will be lucky enough to get him..

I will be interested to see if a sponsor type buyer gets him for a pro to finish to Grand Prix or if someone buys the horse for themselves (or their kid)- ie an amateur ride.

Also interesting that Dressage Daily has not picked up on this tidbit of news.

Steffen and Shannon have done a really beautiful job with this guy; it would be nice to have them stay involved in either the riding or the training.

I just posted asking who wants to buy him. Seems a lot of people out here are interested.

Sorry, you think 750k is high for a horse of his caliber? Um, clearly you haven't shopped in that market. It's actually very reasonable.
