Ok, I have heard of people tying various things to their horse and letting it run around and "desensitize itself"... but why on earth would you tie all the crap to a pony and then tie its back leg too??? A wind gust could come and blow that crap all around and he could break his leg trying to get away

I am afraid to ask what that plastic bottle under it's left front foot is tied to..... Hopefully it's tail! Poor thing. I have a soft spot for minis and have four of my own.

And what is supposed to be the point to them?
You know why cowboys don't like Appaloosas?" - Answer: Because to train a horse, you have to be smarter than it is.

They're from a public blog. The source of the pictures was not posted by the OP but they are public, I can assure you that.
I'm still trying to make sense of them, apparently this someone's bright idea to desensitize a mini. I suppose I just wanted to share my outrage.
Yes, I smell like a horse. No, I don't consider that to be a problem.

It's pretty stupid alright. Poor little guy. Well at least he doesn't seem to be upset by it. Could be a mess if he was.

I'm less concerned about the toddler and more concerned about the pony. OMG! Why is his back leg tied to the neck strap!?!
