My Smooth Fox Terrier, Roxie, has developed cataracts and has some problems getting around. She is still young at only 6 or 7 (she was an adoption, not exactly sure). Anyone have any experience with this procedure on dogs?

I have assisted, well monitored anesthesia, on several canine cataract surgery. Overall patients do really well, little secondary problems. I have seen many, many happy clients who are elated when they see their formerly blind dog start playing again. I would do for a pet without hesitation if needed.
