    Question Bit Legality/Gag Question!

Hello- so I ordered a full cheek rope gag bit not even thinking that I have to use keepers for a full cheek. But since its a rope gag there is no where to put the keepers unless I were to actually put the keepers on the rope. Would it be USEA illegal to use that bit w/o keepers? Or would do you think it would be safe to attach the bit keepers to the rope itself?

You do not need keepers for a full cheek. It is legal to use a full cheek without. There is a past thread on here a while ago on a keepers vs. no keepers argument that you can search for if you want. I use full cheeks w/o keepers

I use a full cheek gag without keepers. I use most full cheek snaffles without keepers...I don't always like the way they feel! You're fine.
